3D Hexagon Boxes with Parchment Flowers

Hey there, crafty friends! Erica here with a fun 3D tutorial for you!

Spring is my favorite time of year because it's the time when all the flowers start to bloom. I was feeling impatient this year and couldn't wait for my real flowers to bloom, so I decided to make some paper ones instead. I love the Pergamenata Parchment because it is so beautiful and is so easy to work with. Let's grab our supplies and get started!

    • Bianco Pergamenata Parchment in 74lb Text

    • Peony Die (flowers and foliage)

Supplies for 3D Hexagon Flower Boxes

To start, you will die cut all of your pieces. I cut a bunch of each size of flower shape out of the Pergamenata, the leaves out of Timber Green and Steel Blue, and the boxes out of Barely Green and Barely Pink. Then, cut your Lemon Drop paper into 2" x .5" strips. Then, cut a taper into each strip. These will be used for the flower centers.

It's easier to show you how to make these, so please enjoy the process video below.

See, wasn't that easy? These boxes would make great gift boxes, or would be a beautiful ring box at a wedding. I couldn't decide what color box I liked better, so I made two. Which one is your favorite?
