During the winter, it feels like I’m planting seeds and wishing for spring and summer to bloom! One of my favorite parts of warmer weather is strawberry season. This adorable strawberry plant card is berry sweet for any occasion – a friend’s birthday, Mother’s Day, or just because. Follow along to learn how to make this layered greeting card, using vibrant Cardstock Warehouse paper shades.
Supplies:
- Cardstock Warehouse cardstock paper:
- Adhesives:
- Craft Tweezers
- Cricut Cutting Machine
Start by cutting the card pieces from the Cricut project file provided. This project was already available with Cricut Access; however, I made some minor adjustments to make the card more friendly to assemble. For example, slicing the strawberry seeds so you don’t have to place them one by one (you will thank me later).
First, glue together the Lessebo Cherry and Colorplan Sorbet Yellow pieces to make your tiny strawberries. See what I mean? You would not want to place each of those seeds by hand.

Then, attach the large Colorplan Lockwood Green base of the card with the Lessebo Amazon teacup using liquid glue and tape runner. I love how these two cool-tones complement each other!
Next, it’s time to start adding the Lessebo Blossom flowers to the top of the plant. How fitting that the shade is called ‘Blossom’? Once the blossom bases are glued, attach the tiny Sorbet Yellow flower centers to each. I recommend using craft tweezers for this step.
Now that the blossoms are complete, you can begin adding the Lessebo Salt Water accent daisies to the teacup. I started around the edges of the teacup, attaching each daisy carefully with liquid glue.

After this, you can glue your first strawberry to the left side of the teacup. The order of how you glue the strawberries does matter, so the layering of the card is correct. Using the large Colorplan Park Green stem piece as a guide, line it up on top of the blossoms and strawberry. This acts as a guide for you to place and glue the second strawberry. With the second strawberry glued in place, attach the stem piece on top using liquid glue.
For the next stem piece, glue it down first leaving some wiggle room for the strawberries to slide underneath. Carefully place each strawberry in their respective spot and attach the stem with liquid glue. You could also use a scoring tool to pre-mark the strawberry locations, if desired.
With all the strawberries and stems in place, add the remaining daises to the bottom of the teacup. The top of your strawberry plant card is now complete!

Use the remaining project pieces to create the bottom of the card. Attach the U-shaped Lessebo White piece to the Lockwood Green base. This provides a blank white space to write inside the card.
Finally, place glue on the top of the card base. Line up both pieces of the card and press firmly to secure the card together.

This strawberry card is blooming with possibilities for sharing! Share it with a friend or even frame it as spring-inspired home décor. This would look so cute in the kitchen! You could also make this as a lovely Mother's Day card and make the teacup your mom's favorite color! ;-)
