Hi everyone! Natasha of @PoliteCreations, joining you with a fresh autumn card. Fall always makes me think of sunflowers in full bloom, warm colors, and golden hour sunshine, and I wanted to turn that feeling into a handmade card. Let's get started!
Supplies:
- Cardstock Warehouse cardstock paper:
- Lovely Layers Mini Fall Florals Dies
- Heartfelt Hello Stamps
- Abstract Study Embossing Folder
- Inks: Spanish Orange Hero Hues Reactive Glitz Ink and Versafine Onyx Black Ink
- Die Cutting Machine
- Paper Inking Palette
- Foam Adhesive
I decided to only create the coneflower and sunflower for this card, despite cutting additional elements from the entire die set. I die-cut multiple of each piece, ensuring I had enough for 3 full sunflowers and coneflowers.

I inked the yellow leaves and both coneflower layers with the Spanish Orange ink. (I decided after I took this photo not to use any of the leaves or greenery for this card. I’ll save them for another card.)
Using foam squares between each layer, I assembled the flowers. This makes them stand out even more on the front of the card.
I used the embossing folder to add texture to an A2 panel of Ivory. I then stamped a sentiment from the Heartfelt Hello Stamp set and created a sentiment strip.

Finally, I adhered a foam square to all of the elements and created a grid with the flowers on my embossed background panel. I patterned the flowers and rotated the orientation of the coneflowers for extra interest. Since the Spanish Orange ink added glitz to the coneflowers, and the background is textured, I opted not to add any additional bling.

Now my card is complete, and I love how simple and bright it is, and the way the flowers stand out!
Thank you for joining me today. I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial. Tag us on Facebook or Instagram, and use #cardstockwarehouse to be featured in our stories!
