Hi, friends! I’m Lauren from Lauren Taylor Made and I’m back with another card-making post to share with you today. Halloween doesn’t always have to be orange and black, and today I’m putting a fun pink twist on my spooky card. Using a mix of bright and bold shades of Cardstock Warehouse papers, I created a playful pumpkin and some ghostly friends to celebrate the season.
Supplies:
- Cardstock Warehouse cardstock paper:
- Craft Supplies:
- Pretty Pink Posh - Fringe Pumpkin Dies, Large Boo Shadow Dies, Stiched Ghosts Dies, and Spider Web Stencil
- Ranger Ink - Black Widow Simon Hurley create. Stellar Foam Dye Ink Pad
- Kuretake - Gansai Tambi Gem Colors Pigments
- Dr. Ph. Martin's - Bleedproof White Fine Art Paint
- Ranger Ink - Pity Party Simon Hurley create. Solar Spray
- Unicorn Tears Glitter Pops of Color
- Adhesives:
I started with die cutting my pumpkin using the Fringed Pumpkin Die. I layered pieces cut from Blossom, Flamingo, Bubblegum, and Hot Pink cardstock, then added a stem cut from Kraft. To give my pumpkin some extra texture, I splattered on pink watercolor shimmer and a little white paint. Next, I die cut the word “boo” three times from Pitch Black cardstock and layered the letters together with liquid glue for a bold dimensional sentiment.

To finish my scene, I die cut two little ghosts from White cardstock and their faces from Pitch Black. I added pink cheeks with a marker before arranging them on my background. For the card panel, I stenciled a spiderweb with black ink on a piece of White cardstock, then sprayed on Solar Spray for extra shimmer.

Once everything was dry, I adhered it to a top-folding White card base and added my pumpkin, ghosts, and sentiment on top. A little glittery embellishment around the pumpkin gave the perfect sparkly finishing touch!

This hauntingly cute handmade card is now ready to send to someone to wish them a Happy Halloween! I'm not sure what I love more, the fringe pumpkin or the cute little ghost faces!
