Floral Typewriter Thank You Card

Floral Typewriter Thank You Card

Hello, crafty friends! I hope you're having a great day! Spring is almost here, and today I am sharing with you an easy floral Thank You card showcasing some gorgeous paper from Cardstock Warehouse.

Supplies:
  • Cardstock Warehouse Cardstock Papers
    • Lockwood Green Colorplan 100lb
    • Lagoon Stardream 105lb
    • White Frost Colorplan 100lb
    • Rose Quartz Stardream 105lb
    • Limone Sirio 80lb
    • Silver Mirror
    • Black Mirror
  • Adhesive Glue
  • Foam Tape
  • Distress Oxide Salt Water Taffy
  • Blending Brush
  • Black Ink & Paint Brush
  • Typewriter Die (or comparable cut file)
  • Loops Embossing Folder

First, I used a blending brush to apply Distress Saltwater Taffy to a 4.25in x 5.5in White Frost card panel. Once complete, I smooshed Lawn Fawn jet black ink to my glass mat and added a mist of water. I then used a small paint brush to tap the ink on the panel creating spatter.

Next, I used my Loops embossing folder to emboss the panel.

I then assembled the components for the card. I used Spellbinders February 2022 Large Die of the Month to die cut the following:

Leaves: Lockwood Green
Typewriter: Lagoon Stardream, White Frost, Silver Mirror, and Black Mirror
Flowers: Rose Quartz Stardream, Lockwood Green, Limone Sirio

I applied foam tape to the back of the typewriter to add dimension to the card. Plus, this will allow me easy access to apply the floral elements to the back of the typewriter.

I added all the elements to the card, and then I used glue to adhere the panel to the card base.

I used White Frost to create a card base. I cut the cardstock to 4.25in x 11in and scored it at 5.5in creating an A2 standard top folding card.

To add a final touch to the card, I added clear embellishments to the flowers giving an illusion of raindrops.
