Love Postage Frame Floral Handmade Valentine's Day Card

Floral Postage Valentine Card

Hi friends, I’m Ivy from @ivypinkmade, and I’m so excited to be back on the Cardstock Warehouse Design Team for 2026! For this Valentine’s Day card tutorial, I’m diving into something that’s a big goal of mine this year: shopping my stash and using craft supplies I already have on hand. There’s something so satisfying about rediscovering favorites and giving them new life in a fresh project.

For today’s card, I reached for the gorgeous colors from the Lessebo Colours cardstock line. The quality is amazing and die cuts perfectly. Let’s jump in, and I’ll walk you through how I brought this card together!

Supplies:

I wanted this to be a top-fold card, so I cut a piece of Vanilla cardstock to 4.25" x 11", and then scored it in the center and folded it in half. This creates an A2 top-fold which will fit perfectly in an A2 envelope

Next, cut the LOVE background and small vines die using Cherry cardstock. Also cut the small vines using the Kelly Green. For the postage die cut, I used the Vanilla cardstock again. I cut the LOVE letters and flower dies using Blossom cardstock. Finally, for the second/mat layer, I cut Blossom to 3.75" x 5.25".

Once all of the pieces were cut, I was ready to start assembling the card.

The first thing I did was cut the big LOVE sentiment in half, since the postage stamp elements wouldn’t fit perfectly centered otherwise. Since the postage stamp and the love dies are from two different die sets, I had to create a little bit of wiggle room.

Next, I layered the Vanilla postage stamp pieces toward the center of the card, taking care to line them up evenly before adhering them in place. I adhered the postage/love stack onto the Blossom card mat using foam tape.

I used the smaller vines and leaves to fill in any blank spaces and add a little extra detail.

Then, I adhered the flowers around the frame and the LOVE sentiment on the postage design. To give the LOVE some dimension, I cut two layers, adhering one directly to the base and popping the second layer up with foam tape for added depth.

To add even more dimension, I added foam tape to the Blossom layer before adhering it to the Vanilla card base.

I love the way these two die sets were able to come together to create something unique. I encourage you to grab your favorite Cardstock Warehouse papers and dig through your stash of dies to breathe new life into your old supplies. Because let's be honest... collecting craft supplies and actually using craft supplies are two separate hobbies! ;-P
