Cute Bunny Handmade Card

Hello, crafty friends! I hope you're having a great day! Spring is upon us, so what better way to say hello to spring than by creating an adorable bunny card? You could also use this card for Easter! Let's get started!

Supplies:

  • Cardstock Warehouse Papers:
    • Lessebo Colours 100lb: White
    • Lessebo Colours 83lb: Pitch Black, Canary, Purple Haze, Blossom, Bubblegum, Dove Gray
    • Pop-Tone Gumdrop Green 100lb
    • Gold Mirror
  • Distress Oxides: Tumbled Glass, Mowed Lawn, and Salty Ocean
  • Blending Brush
  • Elizabeth Craft Designs Bunny Die Set
  • Lawn Fawn Cloud Die
  • Honey Bee Stamps Farm Fence
  • Honey Bee Stamps Whimsical Spring Flowers
  • Honey Bee Stamps Seasons Bitty Buzzwords Stamp
  • Misti Stamp Tool
  • Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Ink
  • Artis Liquid Adhesive

First, to begin creating a scene, I used a blending brush to apply Distress Oxide Salty Ocean, Mowed Lawn, and Tumbled Glass to 3.75in x 5in Lessebo White cardstock flat panel.

Next, I used my dies to die cut the images for the scene using all of the colors listed above. Sometimes I cut extra pieces in multiple colors in case I change my mind while I am assembling.

I positioned all of my pieces and used liquid adhesive and foam tape to adhere all of the die cuts to the card front. I adhered the front to a gold mat that measures 4in x 5.25in. I like using foam tape to make my embellishments really POP!

Next, I positioned the sentiment stamp on the card front and used Lawn Fawns Licorice ink to stamp the sentiment. A Misti stamp tool makes it super easy to position your stamp right where you want it and get a perfect impression every time!

Finally, I adhered the clouds to the card front panel and adhered the finished panel to a 4.25in x 5.5in top folding card base.

And now we're done! I love how this cute little bunny turned out and can't wait to send her along to a special friend! I hope it's starting to feel like spring wherever you are!
