PIZZA BOX
The pizza box was created using the My Scrap Chick Pizza Slice Kawaii Box Cutting File, but if you don’t have a cutting machine, don’t worry, the file comes with a with a PDF file, which makes it easy for those without a cutting machine to use as well. Simply print out your template and trace on to your paper.
The fun part about Holidays is that you can take everyday items, like pizza – and give them a twist simply by changing their color to match your holiday. For my first box, I cut the box out of Cardstock Warehouse Pink Lemonade Pop-Tone Collection paper, giving my pizza slice a pink crust. After all, it is Valentine’s Day. I also modified the original file by replacing the pepperoni with some heart-shaped ones.
Before assembling my box together, I embossed the sides of the box using a Heart Shaped Embossing Folder. I really liked how the cardstock stood up to the embossing; it didn’t wrinkle or shrink during the embossing.
Although the file comes with a face, I like using my face stamps to bring my creations to life. Here I used the Peachy Keen Stamps Sweet on You Faces. I first stamped the face on to the “Cheese”(Cardstock Warehouse Banana Split Pop-Tone Collection paper) I then stamped a second face on some Cardstock Warehouse White Sweet Tooth Pop-Tone Collection paper and layered together.
The finishing touches to my Pizza Box were a sentiment stamped on some Cardstock Warehouse White Sweet Tooth Pop-Tone Collection paper, a bow, and twined button. At the last minute, I decided it needed some sparkle, so I quickly brushed the crust and heart pepperoni with a glitter pen.
Inside you can add some paper shreds, small candies, and even a gift card to a Pizzeria.
So, what are you waiting for? Let that special person know they have taken a “Pizza of your Heart”. We’d love to see! Be sure to show us on Facebook or Instagram.
Thank You for stopping by!
