Glitter Ghosts Pink Halloween Card

Glitter Ghosts Pink Halloween Card

Hi everyone! Natasha of @PoliteCreations, joining you with a fun Halloween card sure to spook! For this card, I am using dies and cardstock to create depth and dimension without any ink or coloring. These kind of cards are a great way to use those dies sitting in your stash and your pile of cardstock scraps. (Because when the paper is as good as Cardstock Warehouse’s, you never throw away any scraps!)

Supplies:

I began by die cutting all of my ghosts and other elements. I used White Diamond Print Glitter to cut my ghosts. I love this white glitter because it's nice and bright and does not shed when you work with it!

I used Rosa and Flamingo for the broom, Candy Pink for the witch hat, and Flamingo for the backer pieces of the “Happy Halloween.” Instead of relying on ink to create depth, I used various shades of pink cardstock and foam.

I began assembling the Mirror Black words to the Flamingo backer using foam squares. I then used wet adhesive to assemble the broom base to the Flamingo layer of the broom bristles. I used foam to pop up the Rosa layer of the broom and offset it on top. This makes the broom more dimensional. I also used scraps of Mirror Black behind the eyes of the ghosts.

Now I am left to arrange all of the die cuts on an A2 panel or Rose Quartz that is splattered in Black Speckle. I made sure to overlap elements to make sure everything fit. All elements except the broom are affixed with foam squares.

This card is super simple to assemble once you have all of the elements die cut. As you can see, you can create a beautiful card simply using cardstock and some dies!
