Hello, Crafty Friends! It’s Angenise of @thegracefulpenstudio, and I’m excited to share a Valentine-themed project idea today! I just love how perfect it is to use ink on these heavyweight papers that add a feeling of luxury to every project...
Supplies:
- Cardstock Warehouse cardstock paper:
- Craft Supplies:
- Electronic Die Cutting Machine + heart shape cut file
- I'm using a Cricut and a heart from Design Space
- White acrylic ink
- Preferably Dr. Ph Martin’s Bleedproof White
- Calligraphy nib and holder
The note card bases are very easy to make. I simply chose a heart shape I liked in Design Space, sized them to 4.75 x 4 inches, and cut them out from the Cipria and Vermillion cardstocks. For thicker papers like these, you'll want to use a setting that cuts twice for each shape to ensure it cuts all the way through.
The calligraphy is where the magic happens for these sweet notes! I'd love for you to join me as I show you my process in this video.
These beautiful love notes can be added to a handmade greeting card, inside a lunch box, placed around candles and flowers on a nightstand, or propped with a card holder.

I hope you enjoyed this project! Share your latest Valentine's Day paper crafting projects with us on Instagram or Facebook! Tag us (@cardstockwarehouse) in your creations to be featured in our stories.
