Floral Garden Overalls Handmade Card

Floral Garden Overalls Card

Hi everyone! Natasha of @PoliteCreations. Today’s card features the cutest floral garden overalls that wish were available in my size, haha. I may not be able to have real ones, but I can craft the adorable overalls of my dreams with beautiful cardstock, so let's get started!

Supplies:

Start by die cutting all of the pieces. Using white, die cut the main “fabric” pieces for the overalls dies, and use the gold for the metal pieces. Then, die cut some small flowers and leaves using Bubblegum and Lime. I wanted these to be bright and fun, but you can decorate your overalls with whatever you like!

Lay out the pocket placements and lightly mark where they would be adhered with a pencil. Begin adhering leaves and flowers, avoiding the marked areas. Do not forget to add flowers to the pockets and straps, too.

Adhere the bottom of the gold clasps to the top of the overalls where you want your straps to be. Then add your straps to the top of the clasps. Play with the look of the strap going under vs over the center bar, depending on your design and preference. Add a small piece of foam to the back of the small gold circles. Align the circles and straps to look as though they are clasped, leaving a small gap between the top of the overalls and straps. Adhere the circle inside of where the clasp is to keep it in place.

Carefully erase any pencil lines and adhere the pockets into place with foam tape.

Stamp and die cut a sentiment. Adhere the overalls to an A2 panel of Hot Pink with foam tape. Pop the sentiment into place with foam as well. Add sequins or enamel dots to the flower centers for extra interest.
