Hi Crafty Friends, Amanda here! I’m back today with a cute Christmas candy bar wrapper you can make using cardstock! I’ll be going over two design options today: using the included Santa face design made of all cardstock, and then a printable option that looks amazing on the White Diamond Print Inkjet Glitter paper. Let’s get started!
Materials:
- Cardstock Warehouse cardstock papers:
- Cut File: FREE SVG/Studio File
- Cutting Machine (I'm using a Cricut)
- Bearly Art® Glue
- Foamies (Optional)
- Hershey's or Nestle Crunch 1.55oz Candy Bars
Start by uploading the file to your preferred cutting machine. The patterned background for this design is not included, but you can easily upload your own background image to use, or pick one from your machine’s software. I also created the text graphic myself by choosing a font I liked, alternating the colors of the letters, then using the "offset" feature to create the layers. You can "flatten" the layers to create a print-then-cut files for these. Decorate your wraps with whatever you like!
Don’t forget to attach your dashed cut lines prior to sending your project to cut. :-) I printed my patterned wrap on White Diamond Print Glitter Paper, and cut my Santa out of Stardream Pearlescent paper. If you’ve read any of my past blogs, you know these are my two favorite papers! Just look at the sparkle in the printed piece!

Starting with the printed option, I was excited to see the glitter paper against the mirrored cardstock, so I layered them up using red foamies (to match the season!) and set it aside. You can glue it directly if you do not want to use foamies, but I love the added dimension. Next, you can grab the printed pattern, and you’ll want to fold along all of the dashed score lines. Once everything has been folded, I added glue along the side strip that will go under the panel with the flaps and sealed it shut. I did the same with the bottom part of the box. After, I put my Hershey bar inside and closed the flap at the top. Lastly, adding another layer of foamies, I placed the words centered on my candy bar wrap. Super fast and cute to assemble!

Next, we’ll go ahead and work on our Santa face candy bar. It’s decided to work on the hat and beard first, just to minimize the pieces on my table. You can glue each respective piece in place, and then we’ll move on to the box assembly.

Identical to how we assembled our printed bar, we’ll fold along the dashed lines, add glue on the side to seal the box - remembering that the side with the two small flaps is the outer layer, and then we’ll add glue to the bottom to seal the box. I followed by adding my Nestle Crunch bar inside and closing the top flap. This flap is meant to open and close like the top of a card deck box, so do not glue this end closed.

Next, I glued Santa’s face and belt onto the candy bar. I glued my belt a little too high, and my eyes may not be straight, so if you’re anything like me, you may want to duplicate those layers, change them to score lines, and “attach” them so that you’ll know the perfect placement for them. :-) Once I had the face and belt glued down, I added the hat and beard directly on top. That’s it! Super simple assembly, regardless of which option you choose!

I hope this project inspired you to Make Something Beautiful! With the candy bar wrap template, you can also create your own designs to fit any holiday or special occasion! Personalize them for Valentine’s Day, birthday parties, teacher gifts, etc!
