Hello friends, it’s Ivy! This time of year always makes me want to craft with bright and happy colors, and the Woodstock paper collection is so perfect for that! I have a new little tool from We R Makers called the Milk Carton Stamp Board that I am so excited to use, and I will also show you how to make them with your electronic die cutting machine if you don't have the board. Let's get started!
Supplies
- Cardstock Warehouse cardstock paper:
- Milk Carton Stamp Board OR Electronic Die Cutting Machine with scoring tool
- Stamps, markers, or other embellishments for decoration
- Scor-Tape double-sided adhesive
Step 1: Cut your pieces
I am going to use my new stamp board to make these, but if you don't have one, you can use the file linked above with any electronic die cutting machine to achieve a very similar result. You can also search your specific machine for "3d milk carton" to find a compatible file. You'll also want to make sure your machine has a scoring tool attached.

This stamp board is so easy to use and makes 3 different sizes of milk cartons. Small, medium and large. I am making all of mine the medium size, which means I will start with paper that is 8.5 x 5.5. Cut all of your papers down using a paper trimmer.
Step 2: Score your boxes
Once you have the papers cut to size, line the cardstock up in the top left corner of the board and score all of the lines. Then, you'll add the clear plastic piece with the triangles over it to score those as well.

Step 3: Decorate!
Then comes the fun part... decorating! The kit that comes with the board includes a variety of stamps so you can decorate the cartons, including ones that create an adorable little house design. If you are using your die cutting machine, you can either draw on details, cut out tiny doors and windows, or use your theme and imagination to create your own embellishments. These would be so cute with die cut monograms or names on them, as well!

Step 4: Fold and assemble
Once you have all the pieces stamped, it's time to assemble! Use Scor-Tape or an adhesive runner to add adhesive to the tab on the side, fold your box in half, and attach the two ends. Now fold in your bottom tabs and glue them. Fold the top score lines to create the classic milk carton shape at the top. Depending on what you plan to do with your houses, you can either glue the top shut or punch holes and use ribbon if you want to use these as treat boxes. I am using mine for decor, so I glued mine shut and then decorated the top with strips of washi tape.

Step 5: Enjoy!
Whether you're using the board or your machine, these 3d paper houses come together easily and turn out so, so cute! They are fun to customize for any party theme, color scheme, holiday, or gift. Can't you picture cute little Halloween and Christmas boxes?
