Land That I Love 4th of July Card

Land That I Love 4th of July Card

Hey y’all!!!!! Stephanie Vittorio here from Coffee Stamps Chaos to share a fun 4th of July card using Cardstock Warehouse cardstock, SVGs and a ScanNCut to create a fun, patriotic card!

This project evolved from another idea I had, but there were a few struggles with my original idea so I went with this. There was some resetting of my cut settings, blade depth, pressure, etc before finally getting it correct, but I got it right and it was smooth sailing from there!

For this project you will need:

  • Brother Scan N Cut (or other electronic die cutting machine)
  • America Land that I Love SVG
  • Adhesive
    • Zig 2-Way Glue Pen
    • Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive
    • Advanced Tape Glider
  • Cardstock sizing for this card:
    • Silver 3 ¾ x 5”
    • Red 4 x 5 ¼”
    • Blue 5 ½ x 8 ½”
  • Brother Scan N Cut settings
    • Blade Depth - 6
    • Cut Pressure - 2
    • Cut Speed - 1

I started by cutting my card base and panel layers to the sizes listed above. I then adhered the base layered together using my Advanced Tape Glider. Next, I cut my sentiment and some embellishments with my Brother ScanNCut machine. You can see my cut settings above.

I had previously cut the America SVG in several colors, so I had those ready to use. I glued those layers together using a Zig Glue Pen to create thicker multicolored layers using a Zig 2-way Glue Pen.

Next, I cut and adhered the “Land that I love” layers together, to create the banner for the bottom of the card.

I had a negative from the previously cut lettering, so I used that to align the “America” layer on my Sparkle Collection Silver layer for the card front.

Then I added the previously assembled banner for the bottom of the card using Nuvo Glue. Finally, also with Nuvo glue, I added stars I had cut previously for the final touch on this fun card!
