How delicious are these? LOL! I absolutely love these little mini cake treat boxes! They are perfect for adding little gifts for birthdays, Mother's Day, or even a tea party! They take no time at all to make... let's get started!
Supplies Needed:

- Bearly Art® Liquid Precision Glue
- Hot Glue Gun
- Bakers Twine
- Cricut Electronic Cutting Machine
- Cricut Cut File:
First, cut all of your pieces. I like to organize them and separate them into small piles. The chocolate raspberry cake has 6 slices, and there are 3 mini round cakes. It may look like a lot of pieces, but they come together very easily.
Let's start making the mini round cakes. Take the brown pieces, which are the bottom of the box, and bend the tabs down (on both brown pieces), but don’t fold the long vertical tab at the ends.
Take your precision glue and make a small line around half of the brown circle. Then, adhere the tabs of the strip to the circle, curving it around the edge. Repeat with the other strip. Once you have those done, glue the vertical tab to the other brown piece and repeat the other side.
Now glue the other brown circle on the bottom of the box covering up the tabs. The last circle goes on the inside.
The top of the box is made the same way as the bottom. Repeat the same steps until you have a cute little lid with drippy edges.
Tip: When gluing the strips on the circle, you can flip it back and forth to help maneuver them.
Put your lids on your bases, and now we can decorate them!
Let's make the adorable strawberries for the top of the cakes. Fold along the score lines and glue the end tab. Next, take a thin piece of twine and thread all the holes, draw it tight, and knot it. Glue the leaf to the top of the strawberry and place the strawberry on top of the cake using liquid glue.
Now onto the chocolate raspberry cake slices! We're starting with the chocolate part (the bottom of the box). Fold all the score lines and glue all the tabs to the inside of the sides of the box, making a triangle box.
Glue the raspberry strip close to the bottom of the long sides of the box. If chocolate raspberry isn't your thing, you can change the colors to create the cake you like!
Repeat the same steps with the pink top of the box. I love the scalloped edge on these. You could also add some cute little paper or clay sprinkles!
A little extra touch! Take a scrap piece of Nubuck Brown, cut about a ½-inch strip, roll it to make it look like a piece of shaved chocolate, and glue it on each of the cake boxes. I rolled this up with my fingers, but if I had used a dowel to curve it, it would have been smoother.
And there you have it! Now you have the cutest paper cake boxes that you can fill with candy, gift cards, or whatever little treats you want. These would also be adorable place cards if you put names on them.
