It's called Materica because you can feel it beneath your fingers. You can feel the cotton fibers, the rough wood, recovered fibers, and the pure cellulose. It's named Materica because you also see its incredible colors, never ordinary, like memories of places – water, red earth, chalk, slate. It's Materica because it simply is. Recycled paper.
Lusciously thick, Materica is made with 15% cotton fibers and is 100% environmentally friendly. The cotton content and recycled fibers makes this paper thicker than expected for it's basis weight. Available in classic colors with a rustic feel - perfect for printing, invitations, stationery, cardmaking, scrapbooking, die-cutting, brochures, menus, report covers, stamping, calligraphy, and more. It is long-life archival, solid-core, light-fast, pure elemental chlorine free and heavy metal free. Due to the recycled content, very slight variations of shade and small inclusions of cellulose fiber may be evident in the sheet which lend more character to it's tactile nature. Try some Materica today and we think you will love it too!
Manufactured in Italy by Fedrigoni, Materica is an excellent choice for print and paper design. Available in ten classic timeless colors that can be dressed up or down.

Disclaimer
To assist you in selecting the ideal paper for your project, we offer **paper samples** for color matching and testing with your specific application. We strongly recommend testing samples before purchasing in quantity.
**Printing:** Cardstock Warehouse provides best-practice recommendations for printing and other applications, based on our in-house testing and specifications from the manufacturing paper mills. Most of our papers are compatible with conventional printing and processing methods; however, we cannot guarantee performance due to the wide variety of consumer and professional printers, processing equipment, inks, adhesives, and techniques. Each may produce different results on the same paper. If you plan to use a professional printer or converter, we recommend consulting them directly.
**Color:** We take great care to photograph product colors accurately, but device screens and monitors may vary. Photographs are intended as a guide only. When exact color is critical, **order samples** before placing a larger order.
**Industry Cutting Tolerance:** We use commercial electronic guillotine cutters and precision cutting/scoring equipment to cut paper and cardstock products to industry-standard tolerances of **±1/32" to 1/16" (approximately ±0.8 mm to 1.6 mm)** in either direction for finished size. This range accounts for normal mechanical variables including blade condition, material properties, clamping pressure, and sheet alignment.
Cardstock Warehouse Paper Co, Inc. is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages or losses related to color, printing, application results, or information provided—whether verbal, written, or on this website. Final responsibility for outcomes rests with the customer.
