Thanksgiving Copic Coloring Card

Hi there y’all! Stephanie Vittorio here from Coffee Stamps Chaos! I’m very excited to be here with you today! I am loving this fall weather and cozying up at home in the evenings! How about you? 

Today I have a fun Thanksgiving Card featuring GORGEOUS Cardstock Warehouse papers, ink blending, some adorable stamps, some dies and coloring using Copic Markers (or coloring media of your choice). 

I hope you’re ready to get crafty!!!! Let’s get started! 

For this project you will need: 

  • Cardstock Warehouse Cardstock Papers
    • Gold Stardream
    • Chocolate Speckletone
    • Pure White Foundations
  • Fall Image Stamp + Sentiment Stamp
  • Copic Markers (or other coloring media of your choice)
  • Cornstalk Dies
  • Sparkly Elements (sequins, gems, etc)
  • Embossing powder + ink pad + heat tool
  • Glue or adhesive of your choice
  • Blending Brushes
  • Distress Oxide ink

Steps: 

  • Stamp and color your main image panel

  • Use distress oxide ink and blending brushes to color your background

  • Die cut or tear paper (if you don’t have dies)  for your grass layers - I die cut mine and then colored them using Copic Markers

  • Glue the grass layers together 
  • Adhere the grass layers to the blended background 
  • Trim background layer
  • Fussy cut your stamped and colored image (I used my Scan n Cut to cut mine)

  • Cut one sheet of Gold Stardream paper in half to create a tall card base (cut at 4 ¼” and then scored at 5.5” and fold) and one piece to use to die cut your corn stalks (either using dies or a die cutting machine) 
  • Die cut Corn Stalks from Gold Stardream paper

  • Create a layer from Chocolate Cardstock to go behind your image background
  • Stamp and emboss sentiment (if you choose)

  • Adhere Corn stalks and image to the background
  • Add sparkly elements!

    Now admire your beautiful handy work, show your friends and make sure to mail it to someone! I just love happy mail and love sending out handmade cards! Nothing makes my day like crafty mail from my friends!
