Peace Poinsettia Holiday Card

Hello, crafty friends! I hope you're having a great day! It's the most wonderful time of the year to create Christmas cards. Today, I'm so excited to share with you this quick and simple Peace Poinsettia Holiday card.

Supplies:

  • Cardstock Warehouse Papers:
    • White Lessebo Colours
    • Cherry Lessebo Colours
    • Evergreen Lessebo Colours
    • Bagdad Brown Colorplan
    • Gold Mirror
    • Black Mirror
  • Artis Adhesive
  • Glue Honey Bee Stamps Winter Bouquets Die Set
  • Honey Bee Stamps Peace Sentiment Die
  • Honey Bee Stamps Kaleidoscope Embossing Folder
  • Distress Oxides: Tumbled Glass, Aged Mahogany, and Rustic Wilderness
  • Blending Brush
  • Distress Reinker Squeezed Lemonade
  • Foam Tape

First, I used Honey Bee Stamps Winter Bouquets die set to cut the poinsettia flowers and foliage from Lessebo Cherry, Evergreen, Bagdad Brown, and Gold Mirror cardstock. Using my blending brush, I used Distress Oxide Aged Mahogany to add shading to the flowers. To add shading to the leaves, I used Distress Oxide Rustic Wilderness

Using Honey Bee Stamps Kaleidoscope Embossing folder, I embossed the panel and adhered it to a Gold Mirror mat. Next, using my trimmer, I cut the card front at an angle.

I then positioned and adhered the floral elements to the bottom corner of my card front.

Next, I applied a light brush of Distress Oxides Tumbled Glass towards the bottom of an A2 top folding card base. I then added foam tape on the back of my card front and adhered it to the card base.

Using Black Mirror card stock, I used the Peace sentiment die from Honey Bee Stamps to cut the card stock, I then adhered the sentiment to the card front.
