Football-themed Handmade Card using Stardream Metallic Paper

Stardream Football Card

Hi everyone! Natasha of @PoliteCreations. My kids have been in sports camps this summer, so I have been in constant game day mode. Finding inspiration from my reality, I created today’s card. This would also be a great birthday card for the football fan in your life!

Supplies:

Adhere double-sided adhesive to an A2 panel of White before die cutting for easy application. Cut 6 1/4 inch strips from the panel. Layer 3 stripes on one another and create 2 thick stripes. Die cut 6 footballs from Antique Gold and the lines from White. Assemble the footballs.

On a 2 ¼ x 5 ½ inch panel of White, arrange and adhere 5 of the footballs with foam squares, cutting off overhang and filling in gaps as you go. Adhere the completed panel to the left edge of an A2 panel of Fairway. Add the 2 thick stripes to the right side of the panel, leaving about a ½ inch between the two.

Stamp and heat emboss a sentiment to a ½ inch strip of Ultra Black. Pop that into place with foam and add the last football into place, sandwiched between the end of the sentiment strip and the White stripes.

I love how this turned out, and the Stardream Metallic paper adds beautiful shimmer to the design and really makes the footballs stand out. I know the football-lover I am giving it to will be thrilled!
