Father’s day is here, so if you need something fun to wrap up your gift, this golf themed gift bag is just the thing you need! You can even use the images from the front of the bag to create a golf themed card instead, or do both for a fun golf themed gift bag and card!
To create this exciting Father’s Day gift bag, you will need:
- Cardstock Warehouse Cardstock Papers
- Stardream Collection - Silver
- Stardream Collection - Bronze
- Colorplan Collection - Natural
- Foundations Collection - Whitewash
- Foundations Collection - Paver Red
- Foundations Collection - Timber Green
- Cricut Maker or Explore Machine
- Cricut Scoring Tool
- Zig Glue Pen
- Foam dots
- Misc. Embellishments - Optional
Now that you have everything you need, let’s get to work creating this very creative golf themed gift bag!
To begin, cut all of your pieces on your Cricut cutting machine.

After cutting out all of your paper pieces, start by assembling the little golf bag for the project. Glue the small pieces to the large golf bag cutout.
Next, you will assemble the gift tag with the sentiment cutout. Glue the two layers together to make the tag.
The next step is to assemble the golf ball. Layer and glue together the two layers.
To assemble the gift bag, fold along the score lines and glue the tabs together.
Next we will attach the golf clubs to the font of the bag. Using the golf bag cutout as a reference, glue the clubs to the front of the bag as shown.
Using adhesive foam dots we will now attach the little golf bag and the golf ball to the front of the gift bag.
Using some ribbon, attach the little gift tag to the golf bag handle.
You can add additional embellishments if desired.
Once you have your gift bag embellished, you are all done! Add your gift and some tissue paper and you are good to go! Your dad will be so impressed with this fun dimensional gift bag and might love it even more than the tie inside!
