Caramel Apple Tags and Basket

Who is excited for fall?? I sure am! I love everything about fall and one of my favorite treats are caramel apples!! I decided to make these cute tags to gift some caramel apples to my neighbors and friends.

Supplies:

  • Cardstock Warehouse Cardstock Papers:
    • Bright Red Colorplan 65 lb
    • Comoscio Woodstock 105 lb
    • Cipria Woodstock 65 lb
    • Brown Speckletone 100 lb
    • Blacktop Foundations 80 lb
    • Nubuck Brown Colorplan 65 lb
    • Chocolate Speckletone 100 lb
    • White Birch Wood Veneer
    • Gumdrop Green Pop-Tone 65 lb
    • Paper Bag Kraft 100lb
  • Bearly Arts Glue
  • Die Cutting Machine (Cricut or similar)
  • Hole Punch
  • Bakers Twine
  • Plastic treat bags

The first thing you need to do is cut all the images from Cricut Design Space. Here is a link to the project on Design Space. I used Cipria for the base, Bright Red and Gumdrop Green for the apples, Comoscio for the nuts layer, Brown Speckletone for the caramel layer, and Paper Bag Kraft for the stick.

Next, glue together each layer using Bearly Arts Glue as shown below.

Once your tags are glued, use a hole punch to punch holes in the top of each stick. I used some bakers twine to tie mine.

Now you are ready to dress up your caramel apple treat bags with these adorable tags!!

Bonus: Apple Basket. I love this little basket so much!! It is perfect to add treats or apples to your fall decor!! I used Birch Wood Veneer layered on top of Nubuck Brown for the basket pieces, and then Blacktop and Chocolate for the bands around the top and the middle. I used hot glue to assemble this to make sure it was sturdy.
