Hello, crafty friends! I hope you’re doing well. Today I’m excited to share the perfect card project to celebrate someone you love and appreciate. It’s quick, easy, and full of heart! Let’s jump right in.
Materials Used:
- Cardstock Warehouse cardstock paper:
- Bearly Art® Liquid Precision Glue
- Along the Path dies, embossing folder, and sentiment stamps
- Copic Marker YR68
Step 1: Die-Cut the Elements
I began by using the Along the Path die set to die-cut all the components needed for the card, including the path, flowers, and greenery. You can find the list of the colors I used above. I love die cutting with the Lessebo papers because they always turn out perfectly!
Step 2: Stamp the Sentiment
Next, I selected a heartfelt sentiment and stamped it directly onto the path die cut, making it the centerpiece of the design.
Step 3: Assemble the Card Front
I brought in the other die cuts and arranged them around the stamped path to create a cohesive and charming scene. Once I was happy with the placement, I adhered the elements to complete the card front.
Step 4: Attach to the Card Base
I adhered the finished card front onto a standard 4.25” x 5.5” top-folding card base, creating a sturdy and polished look. I made my card base from 111 lb. White Lessebo.
Step 5: Add a Final Touch
For a bit of extra detail, I used Copic YR68 to add small dots to the centers of the flowers, giving them a warm and lively pop of color.
And just like that, you have a quick and meaningful card perfect for showing appreciation to someone special! I hope this project inspires you to create and spread a little love today.
Thank you so much for spending a little time with me today! I hope this project reminds you that even the simplest creations can bring light and encouragement to someone’s heart. Keep creating, keep shining, and remember — your hands are crafting more than cards; you’re crafting joy!
