A Toast To You Wedding Card

A Toast To You Wedding Card

Hey everyone, for today’s project I’ve made a wedding card. I don’t know about you but, I never have enough of these on hand. I made my card a little playful with a Polka Dot background and some pink on the dress. Let’s get started.

Supplies:

  • Cardstock Warehouse Cardstock Papers
    • Rose Quartz
    • Pure White
    • Diamond Print White Glitter
    • Ebony
    • Gumdrop Green
    • Onyx
  • Wedding dress and tuxedo die
  • Background die- you can use anything you have on hand
  • Clay heart embellishments
  • Nuvo Crystal Drops Ebony
  • Foiled or Embossed Sentiment
  • Foam Tape

I started by die cutting the Dress and Tux pieces. For the dress I used Rose Quartz and Diamond White Glitter cardstock. For the Tux I used Pure White, Ebony and Onyx for the tie and lapels.

Then I die cut the background from Pure White cardstock with my polka dot background die.

I adhered a piece of Ebony cardstock behind the white polka dot background. I then assembled all of the pieces for the dress and tux. I added the belt and flower cut from Rose Quartz to the dress and then added the leaves and flower to the tux cut from Rose Quartz and Gumdrop Green.

I finished the card by adding Nuvo Crystal Drops in Ebony to the tux for buttons. I added a silver foiled sentiment (you could also do a silver embossing powder for the sentiment) and some Hug Me Clay Hearts. I then adhered the card panel to a piece of Rose Quartz cardstock for a mat.
