Paper Snowflake Tags or Ornaments

Snowflake Ornaments

Hi, crafty friends! I have a fun and quick craft creating Snowflake Decorations for you today. You could hang these on your tree, make a garland from them, or even use them as gift tags. Let’s get started.

 Supplies:

  • Cardstock Warehouse Cardstock Papers
    • White Diamond Print Inkjet Printable Glitter
    • Cipria Woodstock 105lb
    • Malva Woodstock 105lb
    • Blu Intenso Woodstock 105lb
    • Azzurro Woodstock 105lb
  • Layered Snowflake Die
    • The one I'm using came from the Waffle Flower Star Snowflake Kit
  • Bearly Arts Glue
    Pearl embellishments
  • Gold Thread
  • Die-cutting Machine

Like I said, this is fun and quick project to make. I started by die-cutting the shadow snowflake from White Diamond Glitter cardstock. I cut four of these but you can make as many as needed for your project. Then I die-cut the snowflake from each color twice. The colors are: Cipria, Malva, Blu Intenso, and Azzurro.

I adhered the two snowflakes together to give it some dimension, then I adhered those to the White Glitter shadow snowflakes.

I want these to hang on my tree, so I added some gold thread. I just used tape to adhere the thread to the back. I die-cut four more of the White Diamond Glitter shadow snowflakes and attached that to the background to sandwich the thread between.

The snowflakes needed a bit more detail, so I added pearl embellishments to the centers and arms of the snowflakes. This finishes them off nicely. Now you can hang them on your tree or use them as tags!

Here are my finished snowflakes.
